Lepp's Marathon of Love

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
Couldn't ask for a better recipe! It is one that seems to fill the pot on it's own. Everytime I went to take a bowlful the pot refilled on it's own. I guess that means that for you Cindy, this AR bowl will never go away. It will always be full for you and Danny. Thanks again for a great recipe. Will use it again and again.

G's Flank Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
Really, really good! Marinaded overnight and grilled for 7 mins a side. Great recipe because I typically have all the ingredients on hand. I may cut back a little on the soy or switch to low sodium soy. Some bites seemed a little salty. Thanks for a winner! Will definitely make again!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
This is the only way I do a rib roast now. I bought a boneless rib roast for the h's birthday (read the label wrong) and cooked as directed. Came out perfectly!!! Love this one! Thanks.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
You have to give this 5 stars when 3 of the 4 girls scarfed down their tacos. Hubby smiled and said best in a long time! I used a little less salt and crushed pepper. I also added tomato sauce and a little water after browning the meat and seasoning. Thanks, will be using this all the time!!!!

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Great recipe! I used panko bread crumbs and followed others suggestions and used egg and evoo instead of butter. Baked on the cookie coolers and broiled at the end. My 6 year old told me they were better than chick fil a's! Fibbing a little? Maybe, but making a Mom's night , priceless!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This was excellent! I used leftover juice from a slow cooker chicken and no water. It was delicious. Even made the strips and not the bag of chips (go me!!). Thanks for a great recipe!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
These are really good! My girls all love them. Much better than the box I was using! They freeze well too. I lay them out on a cookie sheet in single layers then when they are frozen throw them into a baggie. Great for a quick morning b-fast. I do add 1 T of vanilla extract to the batter. thanks for a great recipe!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Great muffins! I upped the recipe a little to make 12. The girls really liked them. They were big and looked like they had taken steroids, but no one cared cuz they at them so fast!

Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
If I could do 4 1/2 I would! I tweaked this some. I used 3/4 cup of soy. I added 1/2 a large jalepeno minced. I didn't have sherry (which I would have used), but added red wine. It was great!!! Moist and delicious. My h said he hit a couple of salty spots, but he loved it too. AND most importantly, my girls loved it!! Thanks so much for a great recipe!

Panzanella Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
This salad is wonderful! I have brought it to many parties and it is the first to go! I use the marinated mozzarella balls from Costco and kalamata olives instead of green. It really is a great dish. Thanks!!!

Pizza Pasta

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
My family really enjoyed this. I skipped the pepperoni cuz most of us don't like it. However for a little more pizzaz I may add it next time, just finely chopped so the kids don't find it! Thanks!

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
This was okay. I hesitated making it because I am not a huge sour cream fan. I did not have the onion soup pkg, but subbed accordingly. My h liked it and the kids did too. I felt like it needed something. I added tomato sauce and chili sauce for the last 15 mins. I would try again with some tweaks.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
Very good! A good quick go to recipe. I added Italian seasoning and a little extra garlic. Only baked 15 mins cuz my chicken was on the thin side. Thanks for a good recipe!

Zesty Summer Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
I made this tonight. It was good, but next time I would decrease the soy and add more lime juice. The meat was too salty and you couldn't taste the lime. I did not use the sunflower oil, did not have any and used boneless skinless chicken breasts. I will make this again, but with the changes. Thanks for a good recipe!

The taste of this dish is excellent. The texture, well it reminded me too much of hamburger helper. I will make this again, but next time cook noodles separately. I would add them into the dish about 2 mins before they were done cooking. I also added some cumin and black pepper to the sauce. My kids loved it. I loved the taste, not the texture. Thanks for a great recipe!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I double the ingredients for extra sauce, but not the hot sauce. The kids still thought it was too spicy. My sauce never thickened. Not sure why, but served with brown rice and broccoli. Thanks for the recipe!

I really would give this 4 1/2 stars! It was excellent! I used less liquid smoke, but kept everything the same. Cooked on low 8 hours. My girls and husband loved it and asked me to make it again. Thanks for the great recipe!

Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
This was excellent. I made some changes, I drained all but about 1 tsp of bacon fat. Cooked the spinach in with the garlic and tomatoes. Also added a pinch of crushed red pepper and at the end some ground black pepper. I sprayed the pasta with some olive oil to keep from sticking, but omitted all the oil called for. It didn't need it. There was only a spoonful left! Thanks for a great recipe!
