Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
I have been making my cookies this way for at least 20 years and I have never had a problem with them. VERY tasty and soft. I often used chocolate pudding mix and peanut butter chips for something different. If you bake them at the right temperature for the right amount of time you shouldn't have a problem unless your oven is off. This was a recipe from a box of instant pudding many years ago and has been a family favorite through the years.

Classic Hash Browns
I tried this the way it was printed but found we like it better with the salt and pepper mixed in rather than sprinkled on top. Also I always grate an onion into it. I make a huge pan of these and cook them just until a little brown and hot all the way through but not real brown. then I cut it into 6 to 8 pieces and wrap in foil and slide them into a storage bag. That way I have some made ahead and can save time by just getting one out of the fridge every morning and browning it in butter or bacon grease. My husband eats them every day so there is no spoilage. We use them up fast.

Bill's Sausage Gravy
this is pretty much like the recipe i came up with except that I use fat free half and half instead of whole milk. Sometimes I add a pinch of sage too but that's my preference. One thing i do though that really makes a difference.,, but also makes it more fattening is that I fry the family's bacon in a cast iron pan and then add the sausage to the pan with the bacon grease. Adds so much flavor!
