Light Oat Bread

So few ingredients, and so simple, but a great bread. It tastes great, slices nicely, good consistency. I have made this a few times now, and it is consistently good.

Herb-Cheese Yeast Bread

The bread tasted ok, but when slicing it, it just crumbled everywhere. Too crumbly to try to eat without making a mess also.

Grilled Mahi Mahi with Roasted Pepper Sauce and Cilantro Pesto

This was absolutely faaaaantastic! This is like something you would get in a restaraunt. The dish is colorful and beautiful, and full of a variety of flavors that come together perfectly! Thank you very much for sharing; I will be making this again and again.

Country Seed Bread

My mom gave me her bread machine, and this was the first recipe I ever used in it. This was easy, used ingredients I already had on hand, and was delicious. I have made it a few times now, and use it for sandwiches. I will NOT buy bread from the store anymore, not with a great recipe in hand!

Rutabaga Casserole

I'm always curious to try new veggies. Last night was the first time either my boyfriend or I had ever eaten a rutabaga... and we loved it! Thank you for a yummy and easy recipe, great for first-timers. Yes, rutabagas are not easy to chop up... but use a quality knife and put a little muscle in it! It's worth it! Preparing and cooking the rutabagas was very similar to making mashed potatoes: the boiling times are about the same, and mashing them is about the same. Thank You for making me a rutabaga lover. This will now be incorporated into regular meal plans.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

this recipe is PERFECT "as is". i don't know why people try to "tweak" a recipe when they haven't even tried the recipe in it's original version, then they give the recipe poor ratings and wonder why they didn't like it. ***after reading further reviews... i think if people used REAL honey (not that cheap fake stuff) they might get better results. this recipe had the perfect level of sweet taste, balanced with other flavors. simple and tasty! and so easy to make! thank you for sharing.

Thai Spiced Barbecue Shrimp

this was perfect. i used curry powder instead of paste, and it was excellent. i wouldn't change a thing about the recipe, it's super just the way it is. it was served with couscous and broccoli. it's spicy, so if you don't like spicy food, this isn't the recipe for you!

No Fun Steaks

The soy sauce is overpowering. The deer tastes super-salty and super-tart. Perhaps reducing the soy sauce, and even the orange juice, and using something else? This recipe just doesn't do any justice for such a wonderful meat.

so yummy, who needs beef?! i forgot to mix in an egg, but they still turned out delicious. i'll try to remember the egg next time. the meat was juicy and seasoned nicely. great recipe.

Gordo's Good Venison

wonderful recipe. i've never cooked vension tenderloin before, and this was easy. deer tends to dry out easily, and become tough, but the marinade kept it tender! i cooked these on the stove, instead of the grill. i cooked the tenderloins in the remaining marinade, ending up with a nice sauce. came out perfect!
