Easy Cajun Grilled Veggies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Delicious. I cooked them in a skillet full of holes on the grill. Didn't marinate and they were still delicious. Even the picky ones in the family enjoyed!

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
Just made this for a last-minute side with porkchops. I mixed in a little cornstarch flurry and served it hot. Used an immersion (stick) blender to mash some of them but kept it really chunky. My boys went nuts for it. Will have to make again, and soon!

Use a packet of taco seasoning and a can of diced tomatoes. Serve with shredded lettuce, cheese and sour cream on top.

Dijon-Tarragon Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
We really enjoyed this. I had 6 breasts so I used the full pint (?) of heavy cream and tripled the fresh tarragon and used honey dijon mustard. Next time I will probably dredge the breasts in flour first but even without they were quite tender. Served with buttered egg noodles and roasted asparagus which was great with a little of the sauce spooned over top!

Simmered Sirloin with Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
I did not follow the recipe EXACTLY, so for that I can't rate it 5* but this was quite delicious. Instead of the flour/water combo I whisked in a packet of brown gravy mix. This made it quite rich and creamy. Perfect over the noodles. Will definitely make again, the meat was very tender and tasty.

5 Minute Microwave Cornbread

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
I'm sorry but we didn't care for this at all. It really did cook up in 3 minutes which was amazing!! But the texture didn't feel right to us and it probably could have used some more sugar (we tend to enjoy sweeter cornbread). I am glad I tried it though!

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This was very easy and pretty tasty. Next time I will use a lot more honey/mustard mix...couldn't really taste it. Also cheated and used the ready cooked bacon and added that in with the cheese.

Cinnamon Bread Delight

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
Very tasty! I did half white/half brown sugar as recommended and brushed a little sugar/cinnamon mixture on top as it was coming out of the oven. My house smells so good! Not too sweet like a cake, a perfect healthy snack.

Rigatoni Surprise

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
Definitely different but very good! I was concerned about the lack of spices so added a handful of chili powder and then probably 1/3 cup of sweet chili sauce (in the Asian section). We all enjoyed it but I am rating 4 stars due to the changes. I don't like it when people change recipes and then vote them 5 stars.. Ha.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
Delicious! I followed the recipe exactly, only doubling the spice mixture. My bird was pretty big so next time I'll only need one, but will use this extra one for enchiladas later this week! Thanks for the recipe!

Minute® Rice Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Definitely different and pretty easy. I didn't think the cup of rice would be enough so I used 4 cups to fill the 9x13. Also used three jars of ragu (normal sized) and the full tub of cottage cheese. Well this made enough to fill an army! I will make it again but would probably just let the rice cook in the sauce and then add cheese to the top instead of dirtying up extra pots/bowls, etc. But the taste was really good!

Easy Italian Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
I cooked it on the stove in a skillet with a little olive oil, which I think dried it out. Next time I will try baking as the recipe states. Still tasty though!

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Very tasty! I added a layer of rice mixed with some taco seasoning but it probably would have been better without it...also cut my 10" tortillas in half and made sure each layer had tortillas covering the entire pan, so it was more like a mexi lasagna. We all enjoyed this.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
I seasoned pretty heavily with salt/pepper/garlic powder, otherwise it seemed a little bland. Also used fresh mushrooms so I put it in with the sour cream. Otherwise very tasty and so easy to throw in the morning and have ready for dinner. Thanks!
