Slow Cooker Veggie-Beef Soup with Okra

I did as previous raters suggested and added 2 beef bullion cubes w/2 cups of water. I also added dried oregano, basil and parsley along with 2 bay leaves. Yum!

Jalapeno Snacks

These were delicious! I mixed up the filling by cooking some sausage in a skillet, draining the grease and mixed in low fat vegetable cream cheese. That's it...two ingredients for my stuffing. I also found that using a whole slice of bacon worked better in my case. I will be making these again, probably every Saturday for college game day!

Cranberry Nut Granola Bars

I am never buying granola bars from the store again. I used only the quick cooking oats, added sunflower seeds and omitted the mixed nuts. I also added a pinch of cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Baked these suckers for 10 minutes. And now I'm stuffing my face with one. Delicious.

T's Sweet Potato Fries

GARLIC!! I also did not bake the sweet potatoes in the microwave before placing them in the oven. I added minced garlic to olive oil along with salt and pepper, tossed the cut potatoes in the mixture, spread on a sheet pan and baked at 400F for 45 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking process. Delicious!

Tilapia Scampi

I used 5 cloves of garlic and since I didn't have parsley I sprinkled some dried basil and dried marjoram over the filets. I also added sea scallops to the same dish and cooked them alongside the fish at 350F for 20 minutes, then flipped the fish and continued cooking for another 10 minutes. Turned out amazing!

Slow Cooker Chili II

This was really easy to make! I didn't have any celery, so I left it out. I added carrots though. I also added a lot more spices. I added an Italian blend, and I also added about 2 tablespoons of hot sauce. It didn't turn out hot at all, but the flavor was amazing. Thanks for the recipe!

Chili Casserole

This was pretty good, but I made a couple of changes. I used a mixture of cumin/corriander/chili powder in a 1:1:1 ratio (about 1/2 TBLSPN. of each for me!) instead of the seasoning mentioned here. Also, I found that adding more hot sauce made it even more yummy! It's great that you can freeze this and eat it later! Thanks for posting it.
