Marinated Mushrooms

This is the best marinated mushroom recipe I have found. I prepare the recipe and let it marinate overnight. It really brings out the wonderful flavors. Will make again and again!

Pumpkin Chili

Love this recipe. I was hesitant at first, but brought it to a family party. Everyone loved it, expecially my super picky brother. It is so unique! I kept everything exactly the same as written.

Flatlander Chili

Excellent chili! A little bit on the spicier side for my 2 year old, even without the cayenne pepper, but she ate it anyway! Next time I will try using diced tomatoes (as suggested by many other reviewers), but to be honest, this chili is pretty much perfect on its own! Will make again and again.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

I made this a few days ago for dinner. It was very simple to make and the pork came out wonderfully tender. The only change I made was to add some garlic. However, something appeared to be missing. I can't put my finger on it. I will probably make this again, but try to tweak it a bit.

Baked Ziti I

This was very good. I did add some minced garlic when I was browning the meat. Followed the recipe exactly otherwise, except for covering dish with foil while cooking. This recipe makes so much and was overflowing from my 9 X 13 dish. Recommend this one!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

I was looking for something not saturated in fat, but with some taste. I found it with this recipe. A definite keeper. My husband and I loved this. The only change I made was to use portabella mushrooms (just a personal preference). It turned out wonderfully. The chicken was tender and the sauce was to die for.

Roasted Red Pepper and Crab Soup

Oh my god, this soup is wonderful. Tastes like it came from an upscale restaurant. Expensive and time consuming (preparing peppers) but worth it. Tastes even better the next day.

Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

My husband loved this. I thought it was ok. Not enough flavor for me. The pine nuts were delicious in this pasta. I would definitely not substitute any other type of nut. Will make this again.

Gingered Pepper Steak

Tastes like it came straight out of a real Chinese restaurant, only fresher. I added some yellow onions and red peppers, and it was outstanding. So easy to make, although I did have to cook my meat for much longer than the recipe suggested.

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

If I could give this recipe a 10, I would! My husband and I have been to many many steakhouses and had many many orders of filet mignon, but this tops them all. The sauce is to die for, so delicious. I would not change a thing in this recipe. It really is as good as everybody says it is!

REAL authentic Italian taste. I did not find this too cheesy, as some other reviewers did. I found the mozzarella made it perfect. It is also sooo simple to make.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Delicious and I don't even like meatloaf. I really wanted to try this recipe though after reading the reviews. My husband and I actually got in an argument, because he didn't want me to make it, but he loved it! Kept everything the same, but put the brown sugar and ketchup mixture on the top and bottom. Yummy!

Chicken Milano

Very good. I did make some minor changes. I cut the chicken into strips before frying and I added a cup of white wine in addition to the heavy cream with a TB of corn starch (recommended in another review). It tasted wonderful and made the perfect amount of yummy sauce. Tastes better than you get in an Italian restaurant!

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

I still cannot believe how good this soup tastes versus the amount of time it takes! My memories of my mother making this was an all day process. I followed exactly except for some extra garlic (can't get enough of the stuff), and it was perfect.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Delicious. The dijon mustard really gave it a wonderful, unique flavor. It did make a ton of sauce, and I don't know if that amount of butter is entirely necessary, but I ended up serving it over fettucine and it was excellent.

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

Ok, this is very good. However, I am giving it 4 stars because the prep and cooking time is WAY off. I'd like to know who can prepare this from start to finish in 30 minutes! Also, how do you cook the bacon? (I stuck mine in the microwave). The sauce takes a really long time, and I don't know if all that butter is needed. I was cursing myself for choosing this, but when I tasted it, I was quite impressed. My husband said this was the best pasta he's ever eaten. I would say that it's worth the effort. Just be weary of the cooking times!
