Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches
I made this because the reviews made it sound scrumptious. I pretty much followed the recipe to the letter and was completely unimpressed when I served it that night. My husband too, thought it pretty ho-hum.
The next night, HOWEVER, after 24 hours of refrigerator ripening...my whole family was (almost) fighting over it. We couldn't get enough. The meat is flavorful and very tender. You could do almost nothing to it...plain meat on bread, and it would still be very tasty.
Keeping this recipe. Makes a lot so it'd be perfect to make one day and serve to a crowd the next, just by reheating.
