Pig Picking Cake II

Would add cream cheese and confectioner's sugar to the frosting to make it richer. It's a very good, moist cake.

Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

Excellent! Definitely cut the salad dressing mix to half because it will be much too salty otherwise. I made this for a shower, and people raved! I think it would also be excellent to put chopped cucumbers in the dip and serve with bagel or pita chips instead of making sandwiches.

Holiday Chicken Salad

This recipe was very good. The dressing mixture has a bit of zip to it which complements the cranberries nicely.I used a store prepared rotisserie chicken to ease prep. Try it on croissants. Mmmmmmm

Tex-Mex Beef and Cheese Enchiladas

These are OK, but nothing special. I doubled the spices as others suggested, and I agree that without that step they would have been much too bland.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Everyone, including my family of food snobs and picky 4 year old, liked this. The flavor is wonderful, and it holds together well. The sauce is thick enough that it's not soupy or runny at all. One thing that will save time--don't cook the lasagna noodles. Layer your ingredients in the pan while the sauce is warm, refrigerate overnight, and bake according to the recipe's directions the next day. Fabulous recipe!
