About this Cook
I'm married with 1 cat. I love hot food. I think something may be wrong with me because I can eat REALLY hot stuff!
My favorite things to cook
I like making food to take to parties.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandfather made pickled shrimp as an appetizer for all family gatherings. They are awesome!
My cooking triumphs
I just conquered making sweet tea. I know it's an easy one, but I finally figured out how much water to add, how many tea bag, and suger.
My cooking tragedies
I made a pot roast once and my husband said the beef jerky I made wasn't so good :-(

Easy Sugar Cookies
These were great. I added a little orange zest and cooked them a few minutes longer.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler
Great cobbler recipe. I used all blueberries and it had the perfect consistency - not too watery. Thicker, cake like crust as compared to regular cobbler. It was also not too sweet. I made this one with soy milk because I was out of regular milk. Super easy.
