Quinoa Porridge

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Made in a ricecooker, with slightly less liquid (only 1 1/2 cups total). Used soy milk instead of almond milk, and 1 1/2 tbsps agave nectar instead of the brown sugar. Turned out perfect. Exactly like the porridge served on the Inca Trail in Peru. Great alternative to porridge oats.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
I've been using this recipe for years with only a few minor changes: -substitute Ground Turkey for Ground beef -substitute sweet italian chicken sausage for pork sausage - Leave out salt - Substitute red wine for water - use no-boil pasta noodles - cook sauce for 12-24 hours in a slow cooker - add 1lb provolone to cheese layers - use FRESH buffalo mozzarella - Do a high intensity workout 3-4 hours after consuming. You will consume way more of this dish than you should. It's delicious!

Chocolate Caramel Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
I don't like brownies. Not even this recipe. Using this recipe, I just won a mandatory brownie contest in my office. The prize is that I have to make them again for a 50-person conference and these brownies will represent my office the in the national brownie contest. Whooppee. Great. Instead of enjoying a relaxing Sunday summer afternoon, I will be slaving away in the kitching making those stupid rollie balls and trying to make them cover the caramel. I wish people didn't like it so much. The only consolation is that my office mates have practically licked the 9x13 dish clean, and I won't have to bring any home with me.

Chicken Curry V

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2003
Amazing. I liked it much better than Indian curry, which uses yogurt instead of the coconut milk. Many of the ingredients were difficult to find (Anise pods and Tamarind Juice...I went to 3 different grocery stores!!). I used anise seeds instead and left out the Tamarind Juice, but it still tasted wonderful.
