Yummmyyy! Very dense delicious cookies. Slightly crumbly though. Also added a splash of vanilla extract.

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Woo-hooo! First time ever making or using fondant, and it worked wonderfully! I added a few drops of pink dye to the melted marshmallows to make it more fleshed toned. So happy!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
Awesome recipe! Almost like little cookie shaped brownies. This is a very rich, dark chocolate tasting cookie. Very suitable for chocolate amateurs!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
Awesome cookie! Lovely flavour and texture. Might have liked it a little bit crisper. I'll try a bit more cooking time.

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
Very good cookie with awesome spicing. It wasn't as crispy as I was expecting though, a little soft for me. This would have been a 5 star recipe with that extra crisp. Maybe an extra couple of minutes of baking would achieve that.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
I found these brownies too sweet for my liking. The texture is great once completely cooled though. When they were still warm they seemed undercooked and gooey, but cooled they were fudgy and chewy, and not at all cake-like. Definitely very chocolatey!

Cream of Cauliflower Soup II

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
This soup is awesome! I've made it 3 times so far, and it was perfect every time. Sometimes I substitute the milk for heavy cream, just to add to the taste, and add a 2 teaspoons of curry. But even following the recipe it's great.

Cocktail Meatballs I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
Meatballs were amazing! I got so many compliments on them, even from people who normally don't like meatballs at all. Thumbs up. The sauce was really liked too, but to my taste a little too sweet.

Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
Awesome lentil soup. Only changes I made were to use red wine instead of vinegar. I used about 1/4 cup of red wine. Gives the soup a really rich taste. Also used 4 cups water and 4 cups chicken stock. Definitely a keeper.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
Awesome recipe! (only tried the falafel) I tried them baked and pan fried, I definitely liked the pan fried better, they end up crispy on the outside and moist inside. Once baked they ended up mostly dry. Could be my oven or the way I baked them though. I've gotten great compliments and thumbs up for this falafel recipe! Thanks!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
Really great recipe. Nice and easy. I followed other reviews and marinated the beef in red wine overnight (sooo good!), used one medium yellow onion instead of the green onions, and omitted the white wine since I had already marinated in red. Overall: a definite keeper.

Tzatziki Sauce I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
Very good! I like to replace the dill with 1 tsp of mint. And for a different taste, try replacing the yogourt with sour cream. Definite success. Either way, it's great.
