Vegan Potatoes au Gratin

This was pretty good. It wasn't very crunchy on top, though. Next time I would use regular bread crumbs. My husband loved it.

Vegetarian Ribs

These were really good. They did not look like the pic, though. The dough was very wet, I couldn't roll, it basically was one big blob, so I cut it when it was cooked. Next time I would use less liquid. Otherwise, they were very yummy!! My husband loved them!!

Savory TMT Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
This was okay. The texture was a little weird, next time I might use silken tofu just to make it smoother. My husband thought it was hummus.

Mexican Raviolis

I used soy chorizo and tofu instead of chorizo and ricotta cheese to make them vegetarian(can't find vegan wonton wrappers). Sooo good! I made these for Valentine's Day for my husband, he loves soy chorizo, what a hit!!! I also used enchilada sauce instead of marinara. YUM!

Craving Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
This is exactly what I was looking for in a banana cookie. I didn't have brown sugar, so I used 3/4 cup sugar with about a teaspoon of molasses. I also used a cup of vegan chocolate chips which made a perfect blend of peanut butter, banana and chocolate. It makes a nice vegan cookie without having to sub eggs and butter. Yum Yum!!!

Grandma Emma's Spice Loaf

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
I took the advice of another review and used applesauce instead of shortening, added oats, used 1/2 whole wheat flour, 1/2 a/p flour and also added chocolate chips instead of raisins and nuts. Somewhat good for you and yet my husband will eat it(choc chips)
