I LOVE cooking, only started to really get into it a few years ago but I'm still young (only 24) and need a lot more practice. I get a lot of help and advise from my mom, I could only hope I'm as good as her one day. I get to cook for my family once in awhile during the week and for my boyfriend on weekends. I have a friend who's half Mexican and he taught me how to make the best guacamole! My boyfriend also loves avocado so I always try to make new salads with it. I also enjoy making Italian dishes, chicken dished and overall just trying out new recipes! Everything that my mom makes is just so good that I don't think I have anything that's my favorite. Both my mom and my sister bake, which I love but I definitely need more enthusiasm in that department. I make amazing lasagnas. I started off with the original recipe, tried different ones a few times and than started combining what I learned from each one and now I make one hell of a dish! Ever since then I've made all types of different lasagnas and learned that you can basically make it with anything. My biggest achievement recently was making my own white cheesy chicken Alfredo sauce!!! I have a problem with portioning, I have a really bad eye for what I think will be enough or won't be enough for my recipes.
