This will be brief and quick -- I’m so busy here today trying to get all my built-up recycling and trash out for the pickup in the morning.  It’s a challenge.  Long driveway, husband filled up my cart so I can’t use it, and I don’t like to do much in the dark outside because I am afraid of… MORE

Grill your cheese sandwich using coconut oil in the pan.  Yum!   (Don't worry, my bird gets very small pieces, only a few, and not every day.) MORE

Hello!  I’ve neglected my AR blog for quite a while, but I just came back and deleted several of my old posts.  Since writing them, things have changed so much that I wouldn’t even bother making most of the recipes I’d invented and used before.  I still appreciate vegan and gluten-free stuff,… MORE

About Me
Well, yes, I was being a bit sarcastic when I named my blog here "Evidence & Clues." My cuisine scenes are usually not crime scenes. I mainly cook/eat VGF - vegan, gluten-free. But, I do take side trips, still. I am intolerant of certain foods, to a degree. Can't say for a fact that I am a celiac or any other particular type, at this point. Part of my reason for VGF cooking (some of the time) -- as well as other special types -- is because of the needs of family members. I mostly have only myself to please, but if I do want to share something, it's got to meet the requirements!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite quick/easy meal for me, myself and I -- GF pasta with fire-roasted diced tomatoes, and maybe some fresh garlic and poblano peppers cooked lightly in oil. I cook more than I will eat, because not only is it good hot and fresh, but I like it as a cold leftover the next day.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm. Tough question.
My cooking triumphs
Putting weird things together. (Gourmet.)
My cooking tragedies
Putting weird things together. (Dismay.)
