Normal Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
It wasn't the best chicken I've ever had, but it was really good. I gave it a 5 because it is so simple, easy, and fast. I also added brown sugar (1/2 c). I will make it again and maybe try more of the modifications suggested in other reviews. But, this recipe is great in a pinch!!!

Mini Crescent Dogs

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
Well, I didn't even get to try them, but based on how quickly they were scarfed up at my New Year's Eve party, I'd have to say they're going to be a party staple from now on!!!! I did prep them a few hours ahead and left them on the baking sheet in the fridge til I was ready to cook them. Worked out just fine.

BBQ Chuck Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
Delicious...I used soy sauce b/c I didn't have teriyaki, but will try it with teriyaki next time. Also used the crock pot because I didn't want to run the grill for such a long time. Came out great.

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
Delicious and quick!!! I didn't have a can of diced tomatoes so I made my own (1 8oz can tomato sauce, fresh diced tomatoes, fresh minced onion, 1 tsp garlic salt). A nice break from throwing jarred sauce on top of tortellini as a side.

World's Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
Excellent recipe. I'm not a fan of potato salad, but I love this. I took other reviewers advice and cut the sugar in half, which I think was a good idea. Also, as other reviewers say, this does make a TON of dressing, so you might cut the dressing in half or double the potatoes. Will make this again.

Pesto Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
The only change I made was to use chicken instead of shrimp. Delicious. I also think I'm going to try just a plain cream sauce without adding the pesto. I think that will be good too!!

Udon Peanut Butter Noodles

Excellent...I took out the chicken and chili oil (small kids) and served as a side dish with Asian style turkey burgers. Very good.

Excellent. I don't even like ham and I enjoyed this. The family (Christmas EVe) gave rave reviews.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
I loved this recipe, but I too made a few alterations. I used olive oil instead of butter, cut out the dried herbs and used fresh basil only, red instead of white wine and added 1 small can of tomato sauce with the sausage pieces. It came out fabulous.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
Delicious. I didn't have any cilantro on hand, but I made it without and it was still great. I cut the garlic to 1 clove as to not be too overpowering and decreased the olive oil to 2 TBS. I did use the whole tsp of salt, but probably could cut that back a bit. Overall, it was a huge hit. We ate it with tortilla chips, but I can see it being great with fish or chicken too. Definitely will make it again and again.

French Onion Soup III

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
Really great. I also used all broth rather than the water. Added a dash of Madeira wine. I made croutons to put on top (french bread sauteed in butter and sprinkled with garlic powder, parsley, and salt then broiled for 5 minutes). First time I've made Fr Onion soup and loved it.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2012
Delicious!!! I used bone-in chicken breasts and baked this in the oven....tender, juicy, and great. I felt it was just a bit too salty, but not intolerable. I'll just cut down on the salt a little next time.

Mediterranean Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
I'm rating it five because the sauce was so delicious. But the chicken was kind of bland even with salt and pepper. I think next time I will season the chicken a bit more before cooking.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Very good! I added Worcestershire as others reviewers suggested. The only problem I had was that they didn't hold together very well. I even added extra bread crumbs as others suggested, but it didn't really work for me. Otherwise, they were delicious!
