Definitely one of the better pestos that I've had. A little too much garlic (and I love garlic). Also, it says the recipe yields 2 cups, but really it's 1 cup.

Mini Crescent Dogs

Well, I didn't even get to try them, but based on how quickly they were scarfed up at my New Year's Eve party, I'd have to say they're going to be a party staple from now on!!!! I did prep them a few hours ahead and left them on the baking sheet in the fridge til I was ready to cook them. Worked out just fine.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

World's Best Potato Salad

Excellent recipe. I'm not a fan of potato salad, but I love this. I took other reviewers advice and cut the sugar in half, which I think was a good idea. Also, as other reviewers say, this does make a TON of dressing, so you might cut the dressing in half or double the potatoes. Will make this again.

French Onion Soup III

Really great. I also used all broth rather than the water. Added a dash of Madeira wine. I made croutons to put on top (french bread sauteed in butter and sprinkled with garlic powder, parsley, and salt then broiled for 5 minutes). First time I've made Fr Onion soup and loved it.

Mediterranean Chicken

I'm rating it five because the sauce was so delicious. But the chicken was kind of bland even with salt and pepper. I think next time I will season the chicken a bit more before cooking.

BBQ Chuck Roast

Delicious...I used soy sauce b/c I didn't have teriyaki, but will try it with teriyaki next time. Also used the crock pot because I didn't want to run the grill for such a long time. Came out great.

Normal Chicken

It wasn't the best chicken I've ever had, but it was really good. I gave it a 5 because it is so simple, easy, and fast. I also added brown sugar (1/2 c). I will make it again and maybe try more of the modifications suggested in other reviews. But, this recipe is great in a pinch!!!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Delicious and quick!!! I didn't have a can of diced tomatoes so I made my own (1 8oz can tomato sauce, fresh diced tomatoes, fresh minced onion, 1 tsp garlic salt). A nice break from throwing jarred sauce on top of tortellini as a side.

The only change I made was to use chicken instead of shrimp. Delicious. I also think I'm going to try just a plain cream sauce without adding the pesto. I think that will be good too!!

Udon Peanut Butter Noodles
