White Chili with Ground Turkey

Awesome chili! I think it could use less broth to make it less soupy, but the taste is awesome!

Farmhouse Barbecue Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
Great tasting recipe! the only changes i made was doubling the chili powder, and adding minced garlic and onion. Also, instead of using muffin cups i just used my fingers to flatten and strech the circular dough untill big enough to put the meat and cheese in the middle and fold the four corners together. Then i pinched them shut. I stuck a toothpick through the dough, pulled up and pinched together the remaining four corners and put another toothpick through that dough as well. They look like little flowers! I just bake them like usual and they come out fluffy and delicious! My boys LOVE this recipe!

Slow Cooker Pernil Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
Great flavour! I would just half the salt next time i make this (or even less). I made pulled pork tacos out of the roast and with the salsa i added to my taco, it was overly salty. Other than that, i didn't let it sit for any amount of hours and the flavour was just great!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I will add some more spices next time because I personally enjoy spicy food and I did adjust the amount of bread crumbs to make the burgers hold better. Otherwise it was great!

Great recipe! Sweet but not overly sweet, it was just right. I substituted turkey gravy for the brown gravy packet since its all i had, and added some mushrooms. I will definantly make this again!

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

I don't generally enjoy anything battered. This, however, was GREAT! It didn't take away from the flavor of the fish at all!

Thai Chicken Curry with Pineapple

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
I LOVE this recipe! I have added straw mushrooms before or substituted chicken for tofu and chickenbroth for vegetable broth. It is still delicious! (when substituting tofu: drain tofu, put between paper towels and put weights on top. I usually use canned goods inside of a pan. After an hour, cut the tofu into triangles and sprinkle yellow thai curry on both sides. Fry in 2tbls of olive oil and add to the dish when it is in the last 5 minutes of cooking.)
