Black Forest Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
The cake was really moist and instead of sour cherries (I couldn't find them) I used canned cherry pie filling. I made it for my husband's birthday and it was a hit!

Classic Pad Thai

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
This pad thai was so easy and delicious. I added sugar snap peas but didn't change the recipe at all. I made it for friends and everyone loved it.

Thai Hot and Sour Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
This soup was amazing. And really easy to make. It tasted just like the hot and sour soup from our favourite Thai restaurant. I made it for friends and everyone loved it. I used tofu instead of chicken and it worked really well. I also could not find tom yum paste or keffir lime leaves so I used hot sauce and lime juice.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
This pot pie was outstanding. I added garlic and a bit of curry powder which gave a nice additional flavour.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
This was an excellent dish and very easy. I agree with other reviewers in not adding the sugar and it is best the next day or even a couple of days. A new family favourite for us.

Rice & Beans (Haitian Style)

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
This was tasty and a nice side dish but I found the 5 cups of liquid was too much. Next time I'll try 4 or 4 1/2. I used 1/2 cup of coconut milk as part of the liquid which was really nice too.

Amazing Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
These ribs were really easy to make and the best we've ever had. We've never made ribs before and it was a hit even with the kids. We skipped the grill part and only boiled the ribs before putting them in the slow cooker and only needed to use 1 can of beer. The sauce was just the right consistency and the ribs just fell apart.
