About this Cook
I was born in Uruguay, South America, but was raised in Argentina until I was 12 and then moved to Acapulco, Mexico, were I lived for 13 years until I met my husband from New york.My cooking has been influenced by all this countries aside from having acquired the love to cook and bake from my parents who are both excelent cooks.I now have two young daughters who also enjoy sharing the kitchen with me.(and a husband who loves to eat what we prepare!)
My favorite things to cook
With my husband and I being both of italian descent, Italian is what I cook must of the time, but desserts are my passion.I also like to constantly try new recipes and many times come up with my own.
My favorite family cooking traditions
In my family making pasta on sundays with my parents was what I enjoyed best, but in our busy lifestyle making our own pasta is not an option.But with my children, baking for the holidays has become our tradition.
My cooking triumphs
I love coconut flavored things and wanted to find a good recipe for coconut cake, but ended up making my own semi homemade coconut cake that besides being delicious is super easy to make. since then I keep the ingredients in the house so I always have a solution to dessert.My friends loved this cake too!
My cooking tragedies
Pizza, I have tried to make homemade pizza and failed every time, not understanding how something so apparently easy can turn out so bad.Especially dissaponting for someone who grew up eating homemade pizza all the time.I can't even make a good pizza with restaurant bought dough!

Buffalo Chicken and Roasted Potato Casserole
I love buffalo sauce but do not eat wings, so I was looking for something like this for a while, I'm so happy I tried it. I did pretty much the same, but I did bake the chicken and potatoes separate, once it was baked I put all of it together and sprinkled with cheese (just a little less than recipe called for) the bacon and chives and put it back in the oven to melt the cheese. chicken stayed moist, it made a lot of liquid from its own juices. Thank you for this recipe.

The Most Easy and Delish Meatloaf EVER!
Normally I like to try recipes as they are, but I did not have the rottelle tomatos so I used about a cup of crushed tomatos and added some goya salsa verde in place of the chiles in the really turned out delicious and moist,I also brushed some barbecue sauce on top and divided into two loaves that cooked in 45 minutes.thank you for the inspiration!
