Easy Sausage Strata

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I have been making this for over 20 years. We call it Christmas Morning Souffle because we place in oven when everyone gets up and around the Christmas tree and in 60 minutes, we are having a hot breakfast with no cooking because we made it the day before. I do use half & half instead of milk and everyone looks forward to it every Christmas!

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
This was a great hit and very tasty! I liked the fact that it is so sweet. My husband liked it better the day after because it was softer and more flavorful. I will definitely make this again. Even non-rhubarb lovers enjoyed this dessert.

Mom's Ice Cream Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
This was a big hit as a July 4th dessert. The kids loved it and said it tasted just like the popular ice cream sundae! The chocolate topping did not freeze and harden as I thought but stayed soft instead. It will definitely become a requested dessert for future.

This is a the perfect pie! Not too sweet but nice thick custard consistency. I did not toast the coconut and everyone loved it! My family already wants me to make another pie.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
This was very good and received raves from my family. Next time I would remove bone from pork chop before placing in oven for easier eating once served on plate. I would also add more seasonings to cracker crumbs for next time. The aroma in the kitchen while cooking was great!

Aunt Joyce's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
I have been looking for chocolate cake recipe for a 13 x 9 inch pan and this is deliciously moist with a great chocolate taste. I did use the cocoa powder and butter alternative for the chocolate squares. This cake rose well and did not sink after coming out of the oven like other chocolate cake recipes I have made in the past.
