fantastic. the spices give the beef a great taste.I have used this recipe twice. I kept on checking the beef every 1/2 hour to make sure that it had plenty of broth in the pan.

Portuguese Custard Tarts - Pasteis de Nata

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
I would have given 5 stars but the recipe did not give the temperature for cooking the custard. Also didn't say to remove the custard from the heat after you cook it for 5 minutes. The custard will burn quickly after the 5 minutes. Great tasking custard tart. Made it twice already. To save time I used the packaged frozen tart shells.

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Perfect sweet creamy coleslaw. It tastes best after it sits for 1 hour in fridge. I noticed the next day the leftover coleslaw had to be drained it was watery. I have made this coleslaw three days in a row and I still love it. The recipe is so easy and can be adjusted to suite eveyone's taste.Less sugar or 2% milk it doesn't matter it still tastes great.

English Butter Tarts

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
tastes great. This was a very easy recipe to follow. I cooked them for exactly 12 minutes. I used Crisco golden shortening which to me looks like butter. The tart shells were 3 inches not 2 inches. Only sold 3 inch shells at the store. The tarts were a little runny.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
Delicious and moist muffins. I used 3 very large bananas which equaled to 2 cups of mashed bananas. I followed the recipe and used butter NOT oil as others have. The muffins took 26 minutes to cook. The recipe made 12 large muffins. Delicous!!

Spicy Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
delicious spicy soup.I added the spices slowly. Starting with 1/4 tsp of spices and went up to 1 tsp. That worked for me. I used 1 cup of chicken broth not 6. I am keeping this recipe.

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Delicious stew!! I loved it. I did not use the corn starch because I let it simmer for a total of 3 hours. The stew was thick and tasty. Since I did not have parsley or rosemary I threw in a Bay leaf. BUT the 4 beef cubes made the soup too salty so next time I will put in low sodium beef cubes.
