We made a few changes over the course of making this salad several times... add a bit of basalmic vinegar to the veggies. I usually only use the peppers if I have them on hand, as this salad was perfect for our garden abundance this summer (basil, tomatoes, cucumbers!)

Sausage Barley Soup

My favorite soup ever! I've made this several times and have adjusted it to my particular tastes by adding an extra carrot (or 2), extra chicken broth, adding a tablespoon of crushed red pepper, and substituting ground turkey. Healthy, hearty, and delicious. And makes great leftovers!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Good and got raves from those who ate it. However, I felt it was too sweet. I omitted some of the sugar and I feel like I could have cut out even more.
