Old-Fashioned Swiss Steak

Love this recipe. It's a lot like the one my dad use to make only he added sliced carrots and chopped celery to his, so I did too. It is simply mouth-watering delicious!

Stuffed Hot Peppers

Bocconcini Salad

The dressing was great with a minced clove of garlic added ... the bocconcini cheese was very bland but I imagine if you bought it in a real italian store it would be more flavourful ... it was light and refreshing. Next time I will use a different cheese ... does anyone have any suggestions?

Grilled Bell Peppers with Goat Cheese

Delicious! We had lots of sweet banana peppers, so I halved them, seeded them and then marinaded as the recipe says. For the cheese I used crumbled blue cheese with a couple tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and fresh pepper. Next time I will add fresh crumbled bacon to the cheese mixture. Easy Asparagus

Baking or panfrying is my favourite way to do asparagus and this recipe was very good. Did not add the cracker crumbs and used fresh grated parmesan ... everyone loved it!

Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

Lemongrass Ground Beef Skewers

This recipe is wonderful. Added soya sauce instead of salt like other users ... had no cornstarch so I added 2 tsp. rice flour ... some fresh thyme and basil from my garden. Then I refrigerated them for 2 hours. They stayed together very well and tasted delicious. Thanx for sharing bbqgirl!
