I made this for my son's 1st B-day. We served it with mashed potatoes & green beans. YUMMY. I browned it first, used golden mushroom & a garlic onion packet. I cooked it on high for 4 hrs, it was very tender, but a bit dry. That didn't matter though because the gravy masked it. I don't make gravy so it was great having it made while it cooked!! I didn't add any water & it was fine.
I made it again with roasted garlic mushroom soup & a beef onion packet. Again, browning is a must if you ask me. It was tender, juicy and everyone loved it! I sliced it up & served it over egg noodles, with cooked frozen peas & mushrooms. Next time I'll add a little sour cream..mmm Thanks for a easy good recipe for the whole family. I have lots of dishes to spin off from this.
