Peach Pie

This didn't run out well at all, IMO. It was way too sweet! Also, runny and kinda gooey from the sugar. I did what the reviews said and left it in the oven for a couple of hours after turning the heat off. Also, did 1/2 brown and 1/2 white sugar. Definitely needs some tweaking.

Zucchini Patties

These were very tasty! My MIL always has lots of zucchini in the summer that she gives to me. My daughter, mom and I ate these as soon as they were done. Very good!

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

This was good, but not 5 stars good. I prefer lasagna with beef/sausage over chicken therefore if I go through the hassle of making lasagna again, it'll be with beef/sausage, not chicken.

Pizza Dough I

Very good, quick dough. I was babysitting an 8-year-old and we made this together and we both thought it turned out great! We added some italian seasoning to the dough, but besides that stayed true to the recipe. Was great! Perfect for when you're in a hurry and don't have time to let it rise for an hour.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

I know it's cliche, but if I could give this 10 stars, I'd give it 20! Absolutely divine! Only 2 things I changed because I had to was I used a chicken soup base added to water instead of chicken broth as I was all out of canned broth. I also added broccoli at the end. Just perfect! I've made it 3 times at my husband's request! Perfect recipe. Loved it!

Amish Breakfast Casserole

This was not very good at all. The only change we made to it was using sausage instead of bacon, but my daughter doesn't like bacon and I prefer it over bacon, so I don't think that change affected the overall flavor. Won't make again.

Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

These are fantastic! Sooo tasty!!! I followed some of the recommendations. I wore gloves while cutting and seeding/veining them. But I suggest a mask over your mouth as I was coughing near the end. I nuked the bacon for 45 seconds on paper towels. (And even with that they're still very greasy. Plus, I didnt' use the sausage, so I can only imagine how greasy they would've been then.) I added about 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar to the cream cheese. I didn't use sausage and I added an extra package of cream cheese to make up for the lesser amount of filling. That made just enough for the 60 halves. I cooked for 20 mins on 350 and then broiled for about 8 mins. I didn't bother with the tooth picks or the honey and only a few of the poppers had the bacon pull back from them. Soo good! Bringing to a Superbowl party tonight (GOOO Steelers!!) Can't wait to see how everyone likes them!

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

I followed this recipe to a T while doubling it and I'm sorry to say that it most certainly does not taste like a Chinese restaurants chicken fried rice. It was just ok, but nothing spectacular. My rice was completely cold so I know there wasn't a problem there.

Chicken Zucchini Casserole

Absolutely delish! But, what isn't that has Stovetop Stuffing in it, right? :) I added an extra cup of the deiced zucchini, which I cubed moreso than diced. I also sauteed them first with about 1/2 a cup of chopped onion. Gave it a nice crunch and texture, and boy I'm all about textures. Very good!

Chicken Fried Chicken

I wish I could give this 10 stars! Wow! Soooo good! Best fried chicken I"ve ever made and I"ve made lots! I made this for game night that my husband and I have with another couple every week and it was gone in minutes and everyone wanted seconds. I followed some recommendations by doubling the potato flakes (which are instant mashed potatoes), doubling the amount of seasoned salt (I used Lawry's) and adding a TBSP of garlic powder. Sooooo good! Will make over and over and over.
