White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

Unlike some of the other postings I needed to use all of my flour, but remember the age of your baking soda and altitude will also affect your cookies fluffiness. I enjoy a strong flavored cookie, so I doubled the amount of the vanilla as well as tossing in coconut for some extra sweetness. For those of you looking for the Mrs. Fields cookie you need to keep looking, this recipe is a perfect homemade cookie for the realistically minded people. Im looking forward to recreating this recipe again, however I will continue to tweak it to my liking … Im thinking lime juice for a tropical flair. Cheers, ~N~

Chocolate Truffles

GENERIC AT BEST – Served at a holiday party with two dozen chocoholics and ended up with a million of these suckers left over. They paled in comparison to the smooth chocolaty Oreo Truffles next to them. The chunks tasted like they were microwaved, lacked a desirable texture, and dried out by the hour. ~N~

Fruit Dip VI

DOUBLED YES DOUBLED the brown sugar before it finally reached a flavor suitable for my guests... ended up having a strong caramel flavor, but far from being something I could just eat by the spoonful. ~N~

Fluff Dip for Fruit

AMAZING !!! Looks like butter tastes like heaven. Let it sit over night and if its too thick for your liking just add some milk or in my case amaretto. This will be a party staple from now on. ~N~

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

GENERIC - Super sweet and greasy Everyone was raving about how they tasted like gourmet cookies from the bakery … they must have been talking about the grocery store bakery. Just because you toss a ton of butter, sugar and chocolate chips together doesn’t make it ‘Gourmet’. ~N~

I even impressed my German friends. I used OJ instead of water and used a ton of cloves. Because of being crunched for time I made the 'sauce' several days before my christmas party, leaving in the orange, cloves and cinnamon. Reheated, strained the debris and served ... AMAZING!!!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

GREAT BASE !!! I too also added two more eggs as well as adding Swiss and Havarti cheese. Also, included 1 tsp Garlic Powder & 1 tsp Italian Seasoning. To top things off I also used Croissants instead of bread... YUMMY!!! Next time I will use 8 or 9 eggs, but I like mine with a little bit more egg. ~N~

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Strange texture !!! Taste was fine, but nothing to write home about. The funky eggy/gelatin texture was just too much for me. Looking at the reviews I now understand why its only beginner cooks rating it so highly.

French Toast Casserole

SO MUSHY NO ONE ATE IT !!! Even let it set up over night and sub white sugar with brown sugar. Taste was perfect, but the texture was beyond horrible.

Some of our favorite combos are: Caramel & Pecans Caramel, Chocolate & Pecans Chocolate & mini M&MS Caramel, White Chocolate & Pecans Just think of your favorite candybars to give you inspiration.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Turned out perfect !!! I would recommend prebaking the crust, mine turned out a little mushy. Also, the recipe makes a little too much batter, but thats okay I just made a mini cheesecake too. I too did a water bath and had no problems with cracking and I love how it makes the cheesecake texture much smoother !
