The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
I made these for my children's classmates for Valentines Day. They turned out lovely. I added an extra cup of sugar as suggested and rolled them on powdered sugar instead of flour too. I also used parchment paper. They baked in 6 minutes. They seemed soft when removed from the oven but I left them on the pan lined paper while I rolled another batch on to a second sheet. This extra time out of the oven on the hot pan helped to make them more solid without browning the tops. These cookies turned out beautifully and never lost their shape.

Spiced Apple Coffee Cake
The cake tasted ok and the topping was great but the cake was so dry. I brought it to a coffee morning and not many people are it. I think if I ever make it again I will have to add the milk everyone says to. For now I will crumble it and make it a bread pudding or a custard for it. Maybe serve it with ice cream. Almost a waste of my time.

Thera's Canadian Fried Dough
We are a Canadian family living overseas and my son had to do a home country presentation. He asked me to make beaver tails! Thankfully I found this recipe. They are awesome. Nice and thin. I used only whole wheat flour. I halved the recipe so 3 cups of flour and one egg. Turned out perfectly. Everyone loved them at school fantastic result.
