This is by far the best way to make chip! I usually make Taro chips this way, and yes, it takes a while, but they are always delicious! Peel your Taro root, then slice into thin pieces (using a mandolin is best), then place the pieces on the lightly oiled plate (no need to oil the pieces themselves) and microwave for about 4 minutes (for a full plate) less for a not-full plate. Don't be scared to let them get some colour, just don't let them char. I have had success with this many times. Thanks!
