Grilled Chicken Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
not bad. I'll definately make these again. Next time I'll add crushed red pepper or some jalapenos for a little kick!

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
yummy. so easy to make. I used garlic roast beef and put the whole thing in whole grain pita pockets with low fat provolone cheese to make it the whole meal a little more "healthy". I can't wait until lunch tomorrow!

Restaurant-Style Potato Skins

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
WOW! I really don't like potatoes, but I had a lot of potatoes leftover from another recipe so I thought I would try this and serve it to my boyfriend and his friend to get rid of some of the potatoes we had...I actually ate this and thought it was really good!! I can't wait to make this again with enough for me to eat too!! I thought the recipe did stretch b/c I halved the recipe, but still ended up using 6 potatoes!!

Japanese Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
I was afraid to try this one b/c the ingredients seemed strange together, but it has really good reviews so I thought I'd try it out!! The first time I made it, I made it as written with chicken wings. It was really time consuming, but pretty good. The past few times I've made it though, I've used whole drumsticks instead and served it with rice on the side.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
Yum! These are time consuming, but worth it. I like to make them in big batches and then freeze them for later. When I'm craving one, I just cook it in the deep fryer and then eat it with sour cream on the side!!

Skillet Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
I thought this was ok. This was really easy to make but it tasted sortof bland, and the breading fell off easily.

Boiled Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
This was perfect for chicken salad...the meat really did fall off the bones! It was so easy to make, and tasted great. I too saved the chicken broth to make chicken noodle soup for later.

This is so yummy, and so easy to make!! I think it tastes so much better than store bought, or restaurant salsa. I made it exactly as written!

Pasta With Tuna Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
I was really scared to try this recipe b/c the ingredients don't seem like it'd be good together, but my friend convinced me that it was really good, so I gave it a try...and I liked it!! It was really good! I used 1/4 of an onion b/c I don't like a lot of onion, but other than that, I kept everything the same.

My Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
Really good, and simple to make. I changed this around and used 1 lb ground beef, and 1lb spicy italian sausage. Then I used 2 cans of Mexican style stewed tomatoes, and 2 cans of the Chili Ready diced tomatoes. My only complaint is that it is not spicy enough!!

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2003
Wow, this really does make a lot! I didn't have a really big stock pot, so I ended up using all 4 burners on my stove!! I used my food processer for the vegetables, so preparation was nothing...it wasn't as filling as I thought it would be, and it did need some seasonings! It was good, but I don't think I would ever make this again.

Pasta Pomodoro

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2003
I LOVE this recipe. I wouldn't change anything about it, it smells soooo good when cooking and it's really easy to make. I have tried using a can of fresh diced tomatoes instead of chopping the tomatoes myself, both ways come out great!

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2003
I really LOVED this salad, but unfortunately I could never eat it again. If you get headaches from MSG, beware!! Those ramen seasonings straight are bad undiluted!! I used a bag of coleslaw mix instead of shredding a head of cabbage, and I added a few extra drops of soy sauce to the dressing b/c all I could taste was the rice vinegar. I also stored everything seperately like suggested, and it did keep for a few days.

I didn't think this was anything special, they were good. Maybe more balsamic vinegar or seasonings would make them more exciting!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2003
These were so tender, and yummy! I didn't have any white wine, so I just added a little more milk instead. I scaled the recipe to make only 3, but once I saw how thin the sauce was, I added a can of cream of chicken b/c I like to have extra sauce! The only thing I didn't like about the recipe was how much grease pooled up to the top of the sauce while baking....it wouldn't make for a good presentation.
