Chicken Stroganoff II

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
Even my kids loved this. I did follow the recommendations from other raters and added worcestershire sauce, more mushrooms and used 2 regular cans of tomato soup. It was very tasty.

Manuela's Fish Cakes

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
I made these because so many people said they were outstanding. Not only did my kids not eat them, I almost didn't either because the consistency was off-putting and mushy. They weren't awful but certainly not worth making again. The effort of boiling the potatoes, cooking the fish and making the whole thing into a cake, dipping in egg and bread crumbs to fry was a whole lot of effort for something with so little flavor. They definitely need something more than nutmeg and Worcestershire.

The Humble Shepherd

Very tasty. I thought this was a very good recipe. The only thing I would add is worcestershire sauce to the turkey gravy. Otherwise, it was scrumptious.

Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
We loved these. The flavor was so good and not garlicky at all. I didn't change a thing and served it on whole wheat buns with tomato and tzatziki sauce. It was delicious.

Ground Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
We really liked this. I made a few changes that worked for us. I substituted lowfat yogurt for the sour cream and added a can of diced tomatoes to some leftover jars of marinara I had in the fridge. I doctored the sauce with extra spices (garlic, onion, oregano, basil, etc.) which made it so tasty. I also used higher protein spiral pasta instead of the egg noodles to cut down on the carbohydrate content. My husband loved it. He couldn't figure out what was in it but scarfed it down. A big hit! Thanks for the recipe.
