Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
This was a great recipes and I love using fresh vegetables from my garden! I did par-boil the peppers for about 5 minutes. I also used fresh basil and melted mozzarella cheese on the top for the last 5 minutes.

Pumpkin Cookies V

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
These cookies were almost like a miniature cake. Very yummy. I did add 1/2 tsp allspice as was recommended by someone. I used fresh pumpkin, so I had to add more flour. I'm taking them to a pumpkin carving party!

Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
I had never had brussels sprouts before, so I don't have any thing to compare to. My husband and I liked them very much. I cut them in half versus shredding them, but feel that shredding would be worth the effort next time. The pine nuts were great as it gave some crunchiness and a great flavor to the brussels sprouts.

Oatmeal Waffles

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
My kids ate these right up! I like that they are a little more healthy with the whole wheat flour and oatmeal. I did add a tsp of vanilla and a tsp of cinnamon as someone else suggested. I also used 2/3 C whole wheat flour and 1/3C white flour, but will try all whole wheat flour next time. They were very light and tasty.

Pasta and Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
We didn't really care for this. I did add the pasta water, which helped a lot, but it was still dry and kind of bland. I think we would have liked it better with some alfredo sauce.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
Oh my gosh! This was so good. I made it for company and everyone really liked it. I put Velveeta cheese on top instead of the parmesan.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
I love this recipe. I have found that I have to use almost twice the amount of chicken broth though. Very tasty. Even my kids will eat it!

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
These were really easy to make and tasted very good. I used my pizza dough recipe for my bread machine to make the dough. My husband thinks they would be even better with chicken - although we enjoyed them as they were!

Apple Crisp IV

I like this recipe because it has the topping on the bottom of the apples and on top! It's easy and you can use whatever fruit you have on hand.

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
This was so good. I didn't have bread crumbs on hand so I crushed dried stuffing mix and used that instead. As per another review, I cooked the chicken on a cooling rack on top of the cookie sheet to make the chicken crunchier. Very yummy!

Super Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Very easy and very good. I did add carrots, celery, and a can of cream of chicken soup as the reviews suggested. It was a quick recipe and tasted great with homemade bread.

We really like this recipe. It's a nice light pasta. It's definitely worth it to use fresh tomatoes.

Carrot Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
This bread is very good. I used pureed carrots instead of grated. I also substituted 1/2 cup of the white flour with whole wheat flour and another 1/8 cup or so with wheat germ to make it a little more healthy. I always have this bread on hand. My 10 month old loves it.
