Blueberry Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
AMAZING! LOVE IT! So simple and yet so yummy and everyone loves it and asks for it often! I like to try different fruits in it sometimes and I find that trying raspberries and bananas and strawberries are great!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
I loved this! I cut the recipe in half because there was only my husband and I, but I still used the same amount of canned tomatoes as a full 6 breast recipe. We loved the full rich flavors!

Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
All my family said that this was the best turkey they ever had! It had so much flavor and even the white meat was juicy! I also did a brine two days before and then a marinade the day before and I think that helped too. FANTASTIC!

Juicy Two-Stage Thanksgiving Turkey Marinade

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
This was really good! I had to double the recipe on the brine because I had a 27 pound turkey, but it was easy and it added a lot of flavor to the turkey. Family said that it was the best turkey that they ever had!

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
I don't like clams but I sure do love this soup. I made it at Christmas and everyone loved it! I just added a little but of garlic powder and a little extra half and half cause I don't like it so thick. Best clam chowder ever!

Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
LOVED IT! I omitted the butter and added about 1/3 c. applesauce instead and added about 1tbs. of cinnamon. I added less milk, I did about 2-2 1/4 c. I did oats instead of wheat germ and added 2 tbs. of ground flax. And one last thing, I subed agave for the brown sugar. My kids loved them! We put strawberry freezer jam on them or just ate them plain as a snack! So delicious and filling and healthy. It lowered the calorie content about 100 calories per serving.

Sweet Pork for Burritos

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
Loved it! The only thing I did different was I only added 1 cup of brown sugar instead of 2 because it sounded way too sweet and I am glad I did because it was perfect, it would have been WAY too sweet if I added two. It's great to as a salad topper or a yummy sandwich.

Golden Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
These are great tasting and easy, my only problem is that I had to lower the oven temperature or the bottoms were burnt. Everyone loved them and asked for the recipe!

Fresh Strawberry Pie III

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
I followed the recipe to the letter except I added extra strawberries so that the pie would be piled high. I gotta say that I am glad that I did because it was way to SWEET! Everything else was fine though except I think next time I will use half the sugar and try raspberry jello instead and slice the strawberries because eating whole strawberries was a bit of a mouthful, especially for my kids.

Strawberry Freezer Jam

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
WAY too sweet! I did about 1 c. of sugar per 2 c. crushed strawberries and that was PLENTY sweet.
