Broccoli and Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
Following the recipe as written got me a rather dry and ho-hum dish. With the following tweaks I thought it was great: used Savory Herb Stove Top dressing, used cooked frozen broccoli, exta chopped onion, cream of broccoli soup and mixed everything together vs. layering.

Crab and Swiss Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
I have made this recipe twice. The first time I followed the recipe as submitted - I found the flavor to be bland & lacking in presentation, it even looked dull. I gave the recipe 3 stars when made as submitted (actually, I belive it is more worthy of 3 1/2 stars). The second time I made this, I did not use a shell (really not necessary), I used 3 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp of cornstarch, 1 small chopped onion, chopped chives (to give it some color), added a couple dashes of salt and of garlic powder. With these additions, the recipe is a definate 5 star recipe.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Great recipe as written. This was the first, and only dish, to be eaten up completely at a recent gathering.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
Excellent. The only change I made was to add 6 ounces of beer to it. The curry and the beer do wonders - I was a bit hesitant at first. Excellent receipe, will definately make this again.

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
I followed the recipe as written though doubled the receipe as it was going to be taken to a large gathering. Taste was good, texture was good as well, though next time I may add more waterchestnuts.

Cola Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
Good either hot or cold. The only change I made to the recipe was to add 1 1/2 TBSP of Balsamic vinegar.
