Israeli Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2010
This was pretty good but my husband is a meat eater and the first thing he asked is where is the meat. So the next day we cooked up some pasta noodles and made some chicken and added it to the recipe. It was just fine the way it was but the added chicken and noodles was pretty good too.

Strawberry and Feta Salad II

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
A very unique salad. I love fruit, I love feta so this was a great combination of flavors. I think the next time around I will do spinach lettuce instead. The only alterations I made is I used fresh apples instead of dried apples. It was a wonderful salad. It was the first time I had ever tried pine nuts too. They are very expensive so even almonds would make a great choice instead

Herbed Batter Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
I loved these! They were moist... I loved the herbs. I didn't change the recipe at all and left it the way it was. I don't think I would do anything differently. The cooking time was more like 12-13 minutes on my end. And even then they turned out a little more brown then I would have liked. But they were still so good!

Autumn Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
so so very good! I am a sucker for roast. I just absolutely love it. I usually just throw in some ingredients and never follow a recipe. I decided to this a try and glad I did. The flavor is so wonderful on this roast. My mother came over for dinner and seriously had like 4 servings! So there you go.... she loved it, I loved it and so did my husband!!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
These are delicious! We made these as an appetizer. Everyone loved them. They taste like something you would get in a restaurant. I don't own a fry daddy so I just used a pot and some oil. My first batch burned cause my oil was too hot. So make sure it is kept at a constant 350 degrees which is hard when you aren't using a fry daddy. I need to buy one now I guess! But definately worth trying and so very good. No adjustments were made or needed on this recipe

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
This was exceptional. I made the crust out of oreos. I used ghirardelli chocolate instead of chocolate chips and fresh rasberries in stead of frozen. Other then that everthing was kept the same. ANd everyone gobbled this up and not a piece was spared!

Healthier Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
Very good! I liked the amount of spice it had. It was spicy but not too spicy. Just a really nice kick of spicy delisiousness! I added avacado, fat free cheese and light sour cream to the top. such a quick and easy recipe for the busy mom. Put it in the crockpot and let it cook all day. if you wanted to prepare it a day ahead of time it would be just as good.

Seven Layer Dip I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2010
Wow this was so good! Great for the Super Bowl. I loved everything about it and followed the recipe except I added red onions to my guacamole. We had so much left over by the end of the night that we ate it for dinner the next day. We just added it to a flour tortilla and ate it like a burrito.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
Very good! My chicken came out a little dry. I may have overcooked. But it was still delicious. Everyone enjoyed it and said it was the best Chicken Cordon Blue they had ever had. I may make a few adjustments to the recipe the next time around but I would definately make again!

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
Wow... This was exceptional. I have never made a key lime pie. Nor have I really eaten one but it was a special request so I made it for my brother in laws birthday. He said the real kicker for him was the zesty lime in the mix. Everyone gobbled this up. I also added some homemade whip cream around the edges and decorated it with some lime wedges (only for pictures purposes). The only request made is that the next time around I add more of the lime zest into the mix. Other then that EVERYONE raved over this recipe!!!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
It was okay.... I guess I am not a tilapia fan... it was a little fishier then I would have cared for but maybe it was my fish because my husband says it normally has no fish taste. I would next time cut the parmesean in half. It was a little bit much for me also. But the flavor was great and my husband and my sister in law who also came over that day loved it!!!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
The first time I made this dish I used frozen green beans.... Don't use them unless you like your green beans crisy in the dish :) I made it a second time and the changes I made was I did sautee the onions, used canned green beans (as suggested)and instead of using ritz crackers I used the standard french onions which I liked better. It was such a good dish! Everyone love it! I will make it again.
