Made this with a few tweeks like everyone else. Combination of what you have on hand and what your tastes are. Flax Seed is necessary to me. Cooked it much longer than recipe (didn't read the reviews). But this is very forgiving. Good flavor. Not too sweet. Absolutely amazing!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

WOW! Great soup. Don't love a creamy soup because I think it = fatty. Perfect consistency. I used skim milk and added celery, garlic, carrot small sliced. the wild rice and the seasoning packet is what made this recipe outstanding. We were so pleased about this soup that we talked about it for days. this will be a go to recipe.

Garlic Bubble Ring

excellent taste and texture. I used the remaining dip mixture and poured on top, shook up the balls and everything coated fine. So different! I will make this again.

Brownie Biscotti

If you want to wow somebody make this recipe. What a perfect combination, chocolate and biscotti. If you have never tried making biscotti before, it is so easy. Some recipes are too dense and heavy.. this is just right.

Light Wheat Rolls

There is not a better way to serve a whole wheat bread to your family than this recipe. My kids hate whole wheat bread. This is a wonderful tasting bread. My family thinks it is a special treat.. the buns are so light and tasty. Amazing!

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

I have always hated when making holiday meals, the last minute preparation... you have to bake the rolls, slice the turkey, make the gravy... and mash the potatoes...not only does this recipe take out one last minute step from putting the meal on the table, the taste of these mashed potatoes is better than regular mashed potatoes. My family has asked me to only make these mashed potatoes from now on.

Pizza Dough I

Great pizza dough recipe. I have tried many. Good amount of dough.. not skimpy. Best of all this was the first pizza dough I have made that I actually got the air bubbles in the crust just like the pizza shops.

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Ok, my family doesn't particularly love artichokes and they are not fond of mayo... but the combination of all these ingredients makes your taste buds explode. I served this as a Thanksgiving appetizer. My family ate the entire thing... I thought the turkey dinner was going to go to waste... but we managed to eat that too! Great recipe!

Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

My family thought these were the best french fries they ever tasted. These do not need any condiments. They did take more time to prepare than regular french fries, but they were well worth it.

Ruby Red Layered Salad

Baked Fudge

This had the most wonderful chocolate flavor and was easy to put together. I had to use a 9x9 pan and I couldn't tell if it was done at the end of the 60 minutes. I jiggled the pan and the top was set. I should have used a toothpick because the bottom was a fudgesauce. So I realize I should have baked it longer. I finished my pan up in the microwave. Turned out fine.

Caramel Peanut Fudge

This recipe takes some time to make.. mostly just waiting for the previous layer to set in the fridge... but it is well worth the time. Not the best warm weather candy. The top layer will slowly slide off if it is kept out in the warm air. Everyone just loved this candy.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

I have never made peanut brittle before. I have always been too intimidated. This is so easy, so inexpensive and sooo good. Once you determine which bowl size works the best (this mixture does swell up and bubble) and how long to cook in your particular microwave.. you will make batch after batch..it is addicting.

American Lasagna

The sauce recipe for this lasagna was great. The way the recipe was broken down and explained made this the easiest lasagna I have ever made. I made it the day before we ate it to let the flavors mix and it took 2 hours to bake.

Chicago Dip
