The best recipe I made and have been doing several times already. Though using fresh cassava is the best, when time is limited I use frozen grated cassava avilable in Asian stores. I would also just use all cheddar cheese for the topping instead of the ones mentioend in the recipe. The lemon zest is the one that makes this recipe different from the others as it cuts off the sweetness a bit. Thanks so much Chinky for this fantastic recipe!

Black Forest Cake I

I made this cake for my wedding anniversary and oh how my 4 adult children loved it! Maybe because it really looks plush...anyway, i followed everything except that the available pitted cherries here is on glass jars but still close and more than the one stated. I just loved it and will definitely make more of this on special occasions but maybe I will try putting shaved chocolates on the sides to make it more posh. Thanks for this lovely recipe...this is even better than the commercial ones available!

I tried this as per recipe and multiply everything by 3 as I have a big family...the consistency of the flour to the water is just right, it came out perfectly good when cooked! Thanks Delia for this wonderful recipe.

Very easy to do recipe! Thanks - I changed though flavouring with 1 tsp almond and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and added 1/2 cup slivered almonds for texture and a bit of crunchiness. I also made a batch with butter instead of vegetable oil which makes the biscotti taste more creamier...

One Egg Lemon Pound Cake

Like the others, i used lemon juice and tasted better, also the cake cooked around an hour to have a crusty top. This recipe is very simple, i've repeated it several times and my kids loved it everytime....thanks for this fantastic easy recipe!
