Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2010
I think this was a very flavorful, easy soup. I used "italian seasoning" in place of the dried herbs and cut the pasta in half.

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
I chose not to deep fry the beef but to stir fry it and it really came out great! The sauce was amazing. Before making it next time I need a plan for the leftover sauce.

Mine didnt puff that much but they did taste good. More like the fried dough you get at a fair vs. beignets in NOLA.

A very moist bread, the more ripe the bananas the moister the bread will be.

These were insanely easy and everyone loved them. I baked the potatoes the day before and brought them to room temp to scoop them. They came out even better after I reheated them the next day.

I was not a big fan of this. The dumplings barely came out cooked for my taste and I needed to add more seasoning.

Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
This is a GREAT pie! I made my own crust and I used the suggestions and brushed with an egg wash and put it into the fridge while i was preparing the apples. I did not bake it. It really made a difference. I also cooked it covered for almost 1 hour. I like my apples really soft and it cooks away the liquid. Also, I baked it on my lowest rack in a glass pan and the crust was perfect.

Absolutely the BEST Rich and Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing Ever!

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
This is pretty impressive. You MUST use a cheese that you would eat with crackers too. This i much better 24-48 hours after you mix it. I did a double batch and used half to go with buffalo wings and the other half the next day for a wedge salad. I did have to thin it a little with about 1-2 tablespoons of hot water. It did not alter the taste in any way.
