Breakfast Rounds

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
I came across this recipe while searching for something quick and easy to make for my daughter for breakfast before her early morning softball games. This turned out to be super delicious! I don't regularly buy english muffins, so I used the a whole grain bread with seeds. It was perfect and tasted like apple pie! My daughter and husband request them just about every weekend, game or not!! Thanks for the recipe!!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
This shortbread base is delicious. I cannot rate the whole recipe, because I was actually just looking for a good shortbread cookie recipe for my holiday cookies. I usually buy the Ghirradelli shortbread cookies with chocolate in the middle, (they are my husbands favorite) but couldnt find them this year! So, I followed this shortbread cookie recipe exactly as the recipe states, but instead of jam, I put a hersheys kiss in the middle. This was the third shortbread recipe I tried, and the others turned out horrible...this one was absolutely perfect and delicious! No need to ever buy boxed again...This will be my new recipe for holiday shortbread cookies! Thanks!!

Russell's Fish Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
This was a delicious fish soup recipe! I followed the recipe for the most part...but added more of the ingredients listed as well as added others. I added some extra seafood: shrimp, crab legs, shelled clams as well as canned clams, octopus (my husband likes it), extran white fish as well, and an extra can of stewed tomatoes. I also added a little more water to make it more soupy and simmered uncovered on very low flame to ensure that the liquid stayed more soupy and not stewy. I added the seafood and cilantro after the hour simmering for about 10-12 minutes. It turned out great and I served it with crusty french bread and lemon wedges on the side. My husband said he wants this for his birthday now!! I will definitely be making this again. Thanks "Dlish"...is was Delish!!

The yogurt paired perfectly with the other two recipes and hummus on the side...Yum!! =0P..

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
After reading quite a few reviews and suggestions regarding this recipe, I made it for tonights dinner...and it was a hit! =) My 6 year old, who doesnt eat ANYTHING...loved it! And my husband was practically drinking the gravy..lol I did use cream of mushroom-1 1/2 cans and 1/2 can of cream of celery, some fresh garlic, beef broth instead of water and onions...and I seared the roast in olive oil before placing into the crockpot. And as for the leftover gravy and meat I will be making beef stroganoff for tomorrow night dinner! Again, thanks for all the suggestions everyone! Needless to say I will be adding this recipe to my favorites!
