Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
This was delish! DH said it was one of the best things I've ever made :) .. I followed the recipe, other than I baked the chops @ 350 for 45 min, and cooked the crm of mushroom soup, 3/4 can milk, canned mushrooms, & garlic on the stove top. The when the chops were done I just poured the gravy over top!! Great recipe, thank you so much!

Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
This definitly suited my chocolate tooth for the night... Just a little too rich and not enough balance in chocolate and sweetness, just thought it needed something else. A small piece will do you fine, added a dolop of fresh whip to it and still it didnt sweeten it up. Perhaps a mix of semi sweet and milk chocolate?...

Grilled Salmon Sandwich with Dill Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
Delish! I thought the mayo sauce was a tad on the bland side the original way so I modified it to my liking, which is great about recipies! I used the same amount of mayo, 1 tsp of dill, 1/2 tsp lemon pepper, tad bit more cracked black pepper, salt, and it was PERFECT!!!!! I think the lemon pepper was key. Just a few shakes goes a long way. Turkey bacon for a little healther fat, and whole wheat buns, added sauce to fish and to buns.... THANK YOU!! =)

Glazed Lemon Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
I thought this was very dry, and I baked it for the time indicated. I changed the lemon glaze like suggested by other reviews with yogurt, lemon juice, sugar, and it tasted great. I didnt find much lemon flavor in the cake itself. Just too dry and too dense for me.

Best Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
Holy Yum Oh!! haha this was delish! I made this as is, how ever like others reduced the salt. I actually didnt add any, subed the garlic salt for just powdered garlic, no celery salt (didnt have any) added thyme, and pepper. Pounded my chicken breast and put at 375 for only 20 min! Came out moist and yummy. :) Thnks!

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
I loved that this is so versatile. I noticed some people said the noodle thing was odd, try subbing for tortillas or maybe even mexican rice! I added tortillas on the bottom of the pan, spread a salsa refried bean to that, topped with ground turkey (which i added onions and garlic too), salsa, olives, and continued till the top! Baked 20 min and topped with fresh shreded lettuce and sour cream! Delish :) Thanks

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
I just made this tonight on my grill and it was pretty good. I cooked it on Low (300) for 2.5 hrs. I didnt use butter to lower the fat content and subed olive oil. I mixed 1 tbsp of garlic powder, onion powder, pepper and 1 tsp salt. Rubbed it under the skin of the chicken (realized tonight to focus on the under side of the chicken where all the meat is..) this was noticed with a lack of flavor. I then rubbed 1/4 cup olive oil and 1 tbsp lemon pepper over the chicken and let it rest in the fridge for a few hours. Then added the spices to 1/2 the can of beer and roastd. Overall taste was moist and delish, but could use a little more seasonings. So DONT be afraid to season the heck outt of your bird.....!!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
I did this recipe as said and had no problems. It was my first time too, and I was a little worried. Just sprayed my wooden spoon with Pam before taking out the Marshmellow cream. Added all that to the pan and put it on Med heat stiring the whole time with a few breaks. Once to a boil I already had the chips measured out and dumped those in off the heat and stired away. Poured in to a pan lined with foil only not greased and popped that into the fridge. Couldnt wait too long so i stuck some in the freezer to enjoy faster! YUMMY.... Rich but thats how fudge should be :) Thanks

Oven Roasted Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
This was amazing!! I dont care too much for ricotta so I subed cream cheese, added the panko to that and a little salt and pepper. Butterflyed the chix, Stuffed, Rolled and secured. I seasoned with salt and pepper, and dusted with a little panko, and then used turkey bacon to wrap around. about 2 per piece. Cooked 425 for 20 min, came out perfect!! Dont forget to add some olive oil to your chicken and cover or itll dry out. Took off the lid and broiled it for another 5 to get it crispy.

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
This was a great recipe thank you!!! Used it as more of a base and then built off of it. I made them for my boyfriend, he doesnt care for tomoato sauces so I subbed that for cream of mushroom soup. I followed the recipe added a 2 tbsp of bread crumbs to the mix and 1/2 pkg of onion soup mix instead of the onion. I also used cold cooked rice, and then rolled and browned. Had no problems with them falling apart. I added the 1 1/2 cans of soup and 1 can of water. Simmered for 20 min, they came out PERFECT!!! thank you... This is now in out rotation.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
This was a great recipe. I didnt have spinach so I omitted that, and my boyfriend doesnt care for it anyhow. I just sauted and onion and mushroom and cut the chicken in cubes and cooked that with some olive oil, salt & pepper. Used single serving cups and layered with egg noodles. Omitted the 1/2 & 1/2 and used milk and light sour cream. This is wonderful than you :)

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I just made this marinade and it was great! I had to use things I had on hand since I havent gone to the store this week. But I followed the recipe exact other than I sub. the tomato paste for diced fire roasted tom. and instead of cayeanne pepper I used, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (but only 1/2tsp to 1tsp) gave it amazing flavor. Blended it in my blender and it was done. thank you.

Fish Tacos with Honey-Cumin Cilantro Slaw and Chipotle Mayo

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
These were delishious tacos! I love the mayo, but only used 1 pepper and 1 tbsp of adobo and used 1/2 c mayo & 1/2 c. s, cream and that was plenty! I didnt fry it either, since we prefer our tacos grilled. My boyfriend didnt care for the hny cumin sauce brushed on the fish. A little too sweet. Other than that great. I will definitly use the mayo again. :) Thanks!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

I tried this tonight and I didnt care for it. I thought it was rather bland. Possibly cooks error. Just wanted a different way to cook tilapia other than breading it. Thanks for the recipe though.

Ranch Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
I dont personally eat meat but my boyfriend does, and he raved about these burgers! He said they had the best consistancy, almost like mini meat loaves. I only used 1 pd of grd. beef and then used 1/2 the pkg of ranch mix. I used the remaining to make the actual dressing and topped out burgers with that! Thanks :)

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
This was one of the most FANTASTIC things I've ever tasted!! I have always been wanting to try portabella mushrooms, and my boyfriend has asked me to fix them, I came across this recipe and it sounded delishious and I had to make it. Wanted something light and flavorfull, and WOW this was it. Only changed the oil amount (I used EVOO) to 1/3 to about 1/2 a cup considering the balsamic is so pungent. Other than that I did everything the same. Grilled it 5 min on each side and they came out wonderfully. I did poke a few holes in the bottom to allow them to drain so they werent all watery. THANKS AGAIN!
