Easy Garden Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
Really liked these green beans! I used frozen whole green bean instead of fresh. The vinegar gave it a nice freshness and the cheese made it special. I will make again!

Loved this soup! I made it just as written. Great flavor, spicy but not too hot with a touch of sweetness. I am making it again to take to a holiday pot luck at work. Thanks!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2011
I used boneless, skinless chick breasts & did not skewer my chicken. I let it marinate about 2 hours. Cooked outside on the grill. Everyone loved it. Will make again!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
I made this yesterday for dinner last night and the 3 of us have almost finished it off! I used a 4# pork loin and it cooked to fork tender in 6 hrs. on high. I did put it in the oven afterwards with the BBQ sauce and it turned out great! Very easy and low mess. I will be making this again!

Stir and Drop Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
I have been making these cookies since I was a teenager. They are so easy to make and have a nice flavor and soft texture. They can be iced with butter cream frosting dyed to match the event or holiday. This is the only sugar cookie I make.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
I made this cake a couple of years ago for my daughter's 17th birthday and now it has become "The Birthday Cake" for both of my children. I use more expresso and also use coffee syrup flavoring. Want to update this rating. The last couple of times I made this it has fallen apart. The reason for this is the layers were not level. Be sure to trim off the top of the cakes if they do not bake flat. With all the fillings you all a lot of moisture to the cake and it will fall apart if it the cake surface is not flat. Next time I make the cake I will be sure to take care of this. I still highly recommend this recipe. Yummy!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
Just made these and love them! I'm eating my 2nd one now! I halved the recipe and cut them into 8 pieces with my pizza cutter. They turned out nice and puffy with just the right amt. of sweetness. Easy recipe that you can throw together most any morning you want something different and yummy! (great with blackberry jelly!)
