Captain's Crunch French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
We offered this on our Saturday Breakfast menu at our restaurant. It got great reviews from staff and customers alike....decadent! Oh my! One family asked for the recipe so I referred them to allrecipes.com! Others offered suggestions of various other sugar fix cereals to try including ones with berries or peanut butter Captain Crunch. Paired with a good bacon it's a winner!

Greek Chicken Kozani

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
Had to use boneless skinless chicken breasts so I skipped the boiling step. I used a cup or so of chicken broth to replace the water. This was Delicious, a great break from the usual rotation of chicken recipes!

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Prepared just as written. It wasn't WOW but good enough. I made 4 patties and froze 2 of them for later so when I cook those I will maybe add cheese or something to kick it up a bit. After that, I'll probably go back to my other recipe which has fresh chopped onion, cumin, worchestershire sauce and tops with salsa...

Savory Sausage and Rice Skillet

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
The first disastrous meal I've made in many years, in fact I don't remember having to throw something away as inedible . I thought I could sneak a little rice into my husbands supper by cutting back on the amount of rice and adjusting the broth. he has never liked rice since college days. The rice wasn't softening up so I added more broth and went to play Wii with hubby....I beat him handily at bowling....and the supper burnt! Must be the starch on the bottom, it was a black layer and I never smelled a thing. We tasted it and it was very salty from the extra broth i guess....just a total trainwreck. But he was very happy that he didn't have to eat it...he had popcorn, I had left overs. LOL My family and friends on facebook said that winning is everything anyway.
