High Protein Peanut Butter Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
I submitted this recipe and wanted to let you know that it tastes even better if you freeze them overnight before serving. It's a very healthy snack or dessert for those days you are craving sugar. Thanks for stopping by! P.S.: FLAX SEED IS SUPPOSED TO BE GROUND, I SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THIS ON THE RECIPE. UPDATE 7/15/11: for those of you that asked, but when you buy a container of protein powder, it comes inside a scoop for measurements. Usually 1 scoop is equivalent to 4 Tbsp.

Excellent recipe! I mixed romaine lettuce and added some baby greens that had to be used. I omitted the ramen noodles to cut on fat, used Splenda instead of sugar and olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I will definetely make this again!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
I made this dish for my husband and kids, I didn't have any as I don't eat red meat but they really loved it. As suggested by other reviewers, I made a few changes and additions: First I browned the cubed beef with garlic and onions and added to the crockpot. I added beef buillon and sliced mushrooms just 1/2 hour before serving. My husband asked me to save this recipe in our favorite recipes. Thanks Jessica!

Cashew Chicken with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
This dish was absolutely delicious! I used fresh ginger, sesame oil instead of vegetable oil, and since I had some vegetables in the fridge that had to be used I added some brocoli, thin sliced carrots and red bell pepper. I rinsed the cashews to cut on the sodium and used reduced sodium soy and chicken broth. Thanks Tricia!!!

I loved this smoothie! The papaya gives a nice texture. Since I used frozen banana and strawberries, I omitted the ice. I also omitted the sugar and I don't recommend adding any.
