Bow Ties with Veggies

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
As is this recipe is a little bland. I added some fresh garlic and a can of diced tomatoes. I think that some fresh grated parmesan would be a great addition to this dish as well, I didn't add any because I wanted dairy free.

Greek Pita Pizzas

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
This is a great recipe, very simple and tasty for a quick lunch, but I think the vinegar overwhelmed this dish. I have made this dish with pesto sauce instead of the vinegar mixture and I think it goes better.

I love this bread, very nice and dense, just what I was looking for. I omitted the molasses because with honey it was sweet enought for us. Thanks Jennifer this is a keeper!

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
Very good! I reduced the amount of sugar to 1/4 cup and since I don't like much dried fruit, I added some natural crunchy peanut butter. I only baked for 20 minutes and was done. Thanks for the recipe!

Baked Whole Cauliflower

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
This is a nice and different way to make cauliflower. As suggested I cut the cauliflower into bite sizes, I had a head of orange color cauliflower fresh from the farmers market. I used extra virgin olive oil and fresh grated parmesan cheese. Very good!

Very good recipe! As suggested I added 2 Tbsp of oil and I used 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 cup regular sugar. I sheredded the apples otherwise my picky little boy wouldn't eat it.

So delicious! I used dried dill instead of fresh because that's what I had. I also omitted the kalamata olives because I don't like it.

Glazed Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
This was a quick, simple and very tasty recipe. I used real maple syrup instead of molasses and next time I will reduce the amount of olive oil to 1/3 cup, I think that 1/2 cup was a little too much for this dish. You can see on my picture how the corners of this salmon turned out nice and caramelized, just delicious!

This sauce was so delicious! As suggested, I halved the amount of vinegar and it came out perfect. Served over cheese raviolli and rosemary bread. Thanks for the recipe!

Kung Pao Chicken

We really enjoyed this dish. As suggested I doubled the recipe, but not the cornstarch. I added some sliced carrots and brocoli. I recommend to rinse the peanuts to reduce the amount of sodium.

Don't Knock it Until You Try it Zucchini Chocolate Banana Nut Milkshake

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
Excellent! I love the idea of adding zucchini to this smoothie. I made some changes for a healthier version: I omitted the sugar, used protein powder chocolate flavor instead of cocoa, soy milk instead of hanf an half and peanut butter. I will definitely make it again. Thanks!

This is a good basic recipe, but it needs more flavor. I added fresh garlic and lots of fresh basil.
