Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
Very tasty but way too much Mayo for me. I cut it with a little milk. Next time I will use half mayo, half sour cream.

Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This does take a little over an hour to bake. I wish I had known that before I made it but it still turned out perfectly and was the hit of the party. Very easy to make and so tasty. It was also a very pretty cake with the glaze on it. My mother thought it came from a bakery!

Spiced Applesauce Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
I made some changes that helped too I think. I used chunky applesauce that left pieces of apple throughout. I used 1/2 TBSP of vanilla (I like it a lot), I added 1/2 cup pureed butternut squash ( I hide veggies in my kids food), I doubled the cinnamon, added 2 TBSP of flaxseed meal (again to hide from kids.) I baked for 70 minutes and was very tasty. Two toddlers ate 1/2 a loaf! Thank you!

Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
LOVE THIS! I used butter as I did't have margarine on hand, worked out just fine. Also added the pinch of salt someone else recommended. I will FOR SURE make this again. Very moist and full of flavor. Worth the calories.

Champagne Shrimp and Pasta

Disappointing...I would not fix this again. It was blah and very sweet. I really was looking forward to it too because so many others had liked it. It needed something, but I don't know what. Weird recipe.

Overnight Bubble Bread

HOLY COW those were good. I made them late last night and boy did they look gross. I had my inlaws here and was picturing in my mind my mother in law saying that they weren't very good but nonetheless, threw them in the oven and they were freaking fabulous! Used Rhodes white dinner rolls and they were great. They really did look nasty though. I almost didn't bake them but glad I did. Will definately make again...my mil even wanted the recipe!

Fluff Dip for Fruit

I can't even tell you how many people asked for this recipe! It was fabulous! I halved it and still added the 1/2 c amaretto. It wasn't runny at all and was very flavorful. LOVED IT and will make again.

Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2004
Oh my gosh this was so good. I cut out some of the fat by using Egg Beaters instead of the 4 eggs and you would never even know the difference. I also took some advice and used only 1/2 of the brown sugar in with the cinnamon and it was plenty sweet. Thanks for this easy and tasty recipe!

Cream Cheese Cookies IV

These were unbelievably easy to make and looked great. However, they tasted like cake batter nobody would eat them in my family. I am a nurse, so I took them to work and they just sat there...the nurses wouldn't even eat them!

Incredible Punch

I served this at a baby shower for 20 women. Two hours later, it was gone....everyone loved it and people were asking me how to make it. I couldn't find raspberry gingerale, but I used 1/2 bottle strawberry soda and a bottle of lemon lime soda.

Orange Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2003
I made this cake for someone who doesn't like icing. Everyone really enjoyed this cake, including me, but it didn't "wow" me like it seemed to everyone else. It was a good cake, but I probably won't make it again unless someone asks for it. Easy to make.

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2003
Hi, I am married to the pickiest man alive, who, on the second bite replied, "THIS IS A REPEAT!" I never get responses like this. Thank you so much for the recipe. I did grill the chicken marinated for 30 minutes in italian seasoning and teriyaki sauce then followed the rest of the directions.

Mild Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2003
I thought this dish was bland. I was surprised that it didn't call for any seasonings. I added a little bit of seasoning, but not much because I figured if so many people gave it a good rating, I didn't want to mess with it too much. I also thought that each portion was too goopy and rich. If I make this again, I will use my own version...at least I have an idea on how to fix them for next time.

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2003
I marinated the chicken I used in olive oil, minced dried onion, Mrs. Dash italian seasoning mix, and fresh garlic and grilled. I also used a red onion in the recipe and instead of fresh tomatoes, I used a drained can of Rold Gold garlic and onion diced tomatoes. My husband, who IS SO PICKY loved this recipe. Most of the time if I ask him he likes something, he says, "it is okay." But he loved this and told me it was a definate keeper. I thought it was very simple, I have a 9 month old so I need things to be simple!
