Easy Creamy Peppercorn Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
I didn't think this recipe was "all that", or the "bag of chips". I thought the peppercorn gravy was WAY overbearing. Could have been pretty good with some sour cream or cream cheese in it, but I guess If I had wanted to make Stroganoff I would have in the first place.

The Best Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2008
This recipe didn't make me want to "slap my momma", but it DID make me want to run down the street screaming about how good it was. The "14 bananas" thing had to be a typo, I only used about 3 1/2 reg. sized ones. I had leftover pudding mixture that I ate by itself after I ran out of everything else! Fantastically easy and ridiculously good recipe. Thank you!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This was really good! I may cut the amt of cheese down to 1 1/4c rather than the 1 1/2. I used the shredded parmesan, and it didn't melt very well. Cooking it too high will burn it! constant stirring is a must. I may experiment w/ less cheese next time. Good recipe though!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
This was WAY easier and tastier than I previously anticipated! The porkchops came out very juicy, and the herbs were very complimentary, to the meat as with the raspberry sauce. I actually made the raspberry sauce for a topper on pancakes recently which my husband had suggested to me would be good, and it was!! Fabulous, easy recipe. Thank you!

Chicken and Corn Chili

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Ok. This recipe is by FAR the best one i've found yet on this website!! I use 2 jars of salsa instead of one, and 3 chicken breasts (4 seemed to be way too much, especially if your only using 1 jar of salsa) and i use canned black beans instead of pinto. Oh, and i dont even bother letting anything sit around in the fridge to marinade. I have found it tastes exactly the same if you cut that step completely. My husband and I eat this once every couple of weeks. NO LIE. we top it w/ sliced jalapenos, sour cream, shredded cheese, and green onion, and eat w/ corn chips! These are amazing as a base for a nachos instead of usual ground beef, and great as a burrito. Follow my steps, and i guarantee if you already love this recipe, you will now love it even more!

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Yay! I TOO can make ribs now! these were great. I snagged a dry rub recipe from elsewhere on the site, and cooked them with just the rub, and broiled for 15 mins. w/ BBQ sauce at the end like another user had previously suggested. I love ribs, but never wanted to make them at home if i had to go through all the effort of par boiling, and waiting around for the grill to come to temperature, etc. But now i will certainly be making them more often because this was intensely easy! thank you!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
This was really good. I didnt use a whole bottle of dressing though, as i feared it would make the toppings slide off. Next time i probably won't use as much of the hot sauce, because it proved to be slightly overpowering after the 2nd slice or so. Yummy overall, though!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
This was pretty crazy good! So simple to make too! The sauce was very thick, and worked well over hot cooked rice. A great quick weeknight recipe!

Basil Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
I was completely stunned at how stupid easy and stupid good this turned out to be. I figured only 1 tsp. of sugar wouldn't be enough to cut the acidity of the tomato, so i put a total of 3 tsp. in for good measure, and it turned out perfect!! I ate this with a plain ol' grilled cheese sandwich and it was ridiculously tasty. I tried this with the dried basil since my store was out of fresh, and it was STILL awesome!

Irresistible Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
Cashews? Soy sauce? I think someone confused the oriental and the continental, rather than FUSING them. This was pretty horrible. I also experienced the seperation of the soup, and the cashews gave this a very alien flavor and texture. When i made this my husband looked at me like i had just landed. Thanks, but no thanks.
