Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Very good and simple. I didn't have lemon juice, so I used lime juice and it turned out great. I sprinkled fresh cilantro and 1 chopped roma tomato over it before serving. My husband really enjoyed it and stated so several times during our meal. Thanks for the recipe.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
Very good, simple. we make these all the time and the family never gets tired of them. I think the kosher salt is a must - not table salt. I will sometimes add a few slices of chopped bacon to give it a smoky favor ( may want to reduce oil or add cooked bacon near the end of the cooking time). Sometimes I will add a clove of chopped garlic. I just love this simple recipe!

Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts III

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Good. The only thing I did differently was used the wire rack on the cookie sheet to drain the fat, I also marinated the water chestnuts in a cup of bottled italian dressing overnight. This gives the bland chestnut a good flavor.

Spicy Party Pretzels

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Very good way to mix up the ordinary pretzel. Followed others advice and let them marinate/soak before baking. I used the extra thin pretzels.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
Good, but not a big hit. I made this for a Valentines party and thought it would go fast - it didn't. Who doesn't like chocolate on Valentines? The name must speak for itself?

Microwave Spiced Nuts

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
I give it 5 stars due to the ease of this recipe. I have made several batches on these spiced nuts and I always try something a little different with each batch. I slightly toast the nuts before adding to the mixture. I also followed other advice by added a couple of sprinkles of cayenne pepper and have salted the nuts after coming out of the microwave. I have also added in a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batch. My family loves these!
