Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
My entire famiy loves this soup! I did change a few things, I had roasted buttercup and butter cream squashes. I used about 6 cups loosly packed of the squash.I added a half of red sweet pepper to the onions whie I was sauteing them.I used broth and added a sprinkling extra of the cayenne pepper. Instead of warming after processing I put it in a crock pot to hold while everyone gets together for dinner. a salad and crusty bread and it was a great meal.

Cube Steak Parmigiana

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
My husband thought it was going to be horrible. But I made it anyway... He just asked for it again. I am going to change a couple things. I have lots of spag. sauce on hand going to use that instead of the homemade sauce so we can serve with noodles. Very Good!!

My Country Style Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
I made this recipe yesterday and we where all surprised! My husband said.."I never have thought about cutting the cube steak up." I used onion/mushroom soup mix (because thats all I had on hand and omited the salt, using garlic powder instead, as the soup mix its self is plenty salty enough for our family. I also added a can of mushroom pieces. It ended up being a bit to thick. But I was having some electric skillet mayhem, it would not turn down low enough. So I added a bit of apple cider to thin it back down. It was awesome. I served it over rice with pea pods for our veggie. It will becoming a favorite meal at our house. My husband already said "Dont lose that recipe!"

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
I made this for my family, after reading the reviews I added onions, I would have added mushrooms if I would have had any on hand, also plenty of garlic and season salt. It was very yummy! My husband loved it as well as my 3 year old son. I served it over biscuits with green beans. It thickened nicely, very simple, made with items that most have on hand. 4 stars because it's a good base to work from, can easly change the flavors by adding personal ingredients. Next time I am going to add a bit more milk, bacon and shredded cheddar cheese and make a bacon cheese burger soup.
