Crab and Salmon Dip

This dip is fantastic! I prefer green onions, so I substitute those instead of the cooked onion. Other than that, it's wonderful as-is. I served it in a big sourdough breadbowl- big hit. Let the dip chill overnight for best flavor.

Soft Onion Sandwich Rolls

Fabulous. I made a few modifications- I used about 1/2 of an onion, finely diced and sauteed, instead of the other onion ingredients and did not top them. I also used oats instead of potato flakes (they didn't need to be chopped up- they just melt into the dough). Another thing I altered was that I used all water. In my experience, breads made with milk get tough quickly and aren't that good unless they're super fresh. Makeing it with all water keeps it fresher longer. But these were wonderful! My husband called them "a little piece of heaven."

This was great! I substituted passionfruit rum, since I didn't have any coconut. It was wonderful- even guys who "don't drink girlie drinks" said they loved it.

Ono Butter Mochi

Really good! Just a note- I couldn't find anything called mochiko in any grocery store near my house (the midwest is not exactly full of exotic things), but plain rice flour worked just fine. These are delicious!

Microwave Lemon Curd

Absolutely wonderful! It's perfect as a filling for cakes, as the tartness cuts the sweetness of the cake and frosting. Super easy to make, too! I used a little less zest (about 2 lemons) and storebought lemon juice rather than fresh. Awesome recipe. Thanks!
