Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2014
My husband absolutely loves this. We used to make it with just the pepperoncini peppers, but we both agree that adding the garlic makes it even better. Possibly even cuts out some of the tang of the pepperoncinis. Everyone asks us for the recipe and are shocked out how easy this is. I wish all meals could be as tasty and easy to make as this one!

Pumpkin Cheesecake Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
Definitely grease the pan before putting the cookie dough on the bottom. I think it would have helped to let the cookie dough cool a few minutes before adding the pumpkin topping as it was hard to spread because my crust was bubbly and poofy. I should have listened to my gut instinct on that one. It came out fine, just hard to spread the pumpkin around the puffy crust to make it more even. The taste was amazing! I used the whole cookie package (mine wasn't 18 oz) and just used my pampered chef roller to help spread it out evenly.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
This was AMAZING! I have to admit, I was skeptical about sour cream in the recipe, but it works! Both my husband and I devoured this over several days as it made excellent leftovers. I thought I would bring some to family members to share since it made so much and is so hearty, but we were too selfish this time :) Next time, we will invite everyone over. I should mention that I did not use hamburger & onion, but instead swapped that with our favorite mini meatballs (size of marbles) from Graziano's in Des Moines, IA. I used 2 jars of Gino's marinara sauce, which is a spicier flavor. I am just not a fan of ground beef (my husband is) so this was a delicious compromise. This is now on top of our list as one of our staple meals! Thank you for sharing!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2011
I wasn't sure about sour cream in a cake because of a childhood memory of mayonnaise cake that I didn't like - so I was scared it would be a similar taste. BOY, was a I wrong! This is my staple go to chocolate cake. Simple, easy and over the top delicious. The house is filled with an intoxicating aroma while it bakes and you cannot help but try some after it comes out of the oven - suggest at least 30 minutes cooling first :) AND you don't even need frosting. SINFULLY delicious. Thank you, thank you THANK you for sharing this marvelous recipe.

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
This was ok for me, a bit too sugary for my taste. I prefer mine with more oats. There's another recipe on this site that I love, Apple Crisp IV by Rhonda that has the ratios I love and get rave reviews when bringing it to pot lucks.

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
My first pie crust I ever made. It was much easier than I expected (still trying to get the hang of rolling it out). My family was impressed and loved the taste of it with my favorite pumpkin pie recipe.

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Simple & perfect. It's my go to and favorite autumn dessert. I have tried it with one type of apple and a variety of apples. I think the variety is a bit more fun with the different textures and flavors that come out. It's hard not to eat the whole pan. Thanks for sharing!

The title is true, it is the BEST ever and easy to make. This is an annual staple for our holiday baking with my mom and sister. It barely gets out to share with others! This year we are making 2 batches.

Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I was disappointed. In my opinion, it was ok, nothing special or anything I would crave. I brought it to a family function and they said they liked it, but no one was eccstatic.

Chinese Cabbage Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2009
I've had something similar with almonds, but tried this and liked the cashews, either nut is a good choice. I also heated up the oil and sugar so that the sugar would dissolve.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
This was a hit with my family. I found it very easy to use. To save time, I bought frozen cooked shrimp (thawed out) and added it to the sauce for a couple minutes to warm it up. I prefer to mix the noodles and sauce together before serving so that the noodles soak up the flavor. It's great to have the leftovers (if any) the next day.

I loved this recipe. I have tried others, but this one is by far the best. There is enough sauce and the flavor is out of this world.

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

I am pleased with this recipe. It was delicious and easy to make. Finally a recipe where the potatoe is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, PERFECT! Next time I will remember to protect my pan for easy clean up.
