Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
I have always loved pulled pork and was anxious to try this recipe based on all the positive reviews-however all I could taste was root beer. I actually used only half the amount it called for and still the taste was overpowering. I drained all the root beer off for the last hour of cooking, and still could taste the soda. I will try it again using chicken broth as some others suggested.

Key Lime Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
I can't imagine what went wrong. I followed the directions exactly as written. After 45 minutes the top of the cheesecake was burnt-dark brown, cracked and puffy. I am famous for making cheesecakes in my family and have made many, but this one was a diasaster. I let it set overnight and the next day when I cut into it, it was runny I though that maybe my oven was off so I tried a regular flavored cheesecake and it came out fine.

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
I make chipped beef for my family all the time. One thing that I like to do is add veggies to the mix. My husband is a big asparagus lover. I saute some cut up pieces of asparagus in butter until tender and toss it into the chipped beef just before serving. This makes it a complete meal with meat, starch and veggies. You can add any vegetable that you like.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
I have read the reviews on this recipe and I often see that some people experience an oily residue from the cheese. They either wipe it off or omit the cheese. I have made this recipe many times without experiencing this and it has always been delicious. I always use the reducuced fat shredded cheese. Recently I made the dip using the full fat version, and boy was there a LOT of oil on top. I kept wiping it and it kept coming back. I didn't serve it to my guests. Use the reduced fat-tastes the same with NO oil.
